Paul's News from
the Field

Dear
Friends,
What's New at PA-KO?
The Alabama Wildlife
Department's forecast for the 2007 - 2008
deer season was completely wrong.
Record mast production
provided ample acorns for the entire season.
Record high temperatures in December greatly
reduced daytime deer movement.
Hunting was challenging
to say the least. Despite the above
mentioned conditions, our hunters with the
help of our guides harvested some terrific
bucks. (Click Here

*** Note ***
The Majority of the
trophy bucks were taken during the last two
days of January. This has been the
trend the past two seasons.
The 2008 - 2009 deer
season should be more successful. I
can't imagine worse conditions than the past
season.
We have good dates
available in December and late January.
We also have special
father\son - daughter rates for late
November and December.
Bow Hunter interested in
hunting next season should contact us for
our early season special rates.
*** Note ***
95% of our bow hunters
shot at or harvested deer last season.
Congratulations to our
successful hunters. I look forward to
seeing old friends and making new ones next
season.
Good Hunting!
