Paul's News from
the Field

Dear
Friends,
What's New at PA-KO?
The 2011 portion of our hunting season is
winding down. Our bow hunters did
extremely well in the early weeks Oct&Nov.
We only had one pair of bow hunters that
didn't shoot. Some good bucks,several
does and 4 hogs were taken.
Rifle season has been plagued by unusually
warm temperatures which has slowed deer
movement. In spite of the weather
several of our hunters took home good bucks.
It was great to see that all of our father
son/daughter groups got nice bucks. I
hunted a green field yesterday and saw three
bucks chasing does.
That puts our Dec rut at Dec 20.our main Jan
rut should occur on or around Jan 20.
Hopefully the temps will cool off and this
will be our best January ever.
Rita and I and the PA-KO staff wish everyone
a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
Good Hunting
