Upland hunts: Flighty birds, lots of action!

Nothing gets the blood pumping or builds connections within a corporate team, like upland bird hunting at Pa-Ko. We provide all the elements of great Alabama quail hunting—plentiful coveys, exceptional dogs, plus unlimited gunning—in an untamed setting. Except for modern conveniences like our quail wagon, you might be stepping back a hundred years.

We’ve perfected a method of liberating coveys of Bobwhite quail months before the season opens on November 1st.

 

Result: strong, high-flying birds. Indistinguishable from our wild population. Sport pheasants and chukars can be added to the hunt upon request.

Enjoy a leisurely lunch with either half day hunt (9am-noon or 1-4pm). Groups who stay over, say the wing-shooting experience carries right through an evening of story-trading over cocktails at the lodge.

Dozens of coveys rise in a single hunt. Wingshooting is unlimited at Pa-Ko. At hunt’s end, each hunter will receive one dozen quail cleaned, packaged, and frozen for transport.
